Bhavesh Mistry is a founding partner and principal of the firm with expertise in the areas of asset protection, estate planning, litigation and family law. His experience in family law matters involves complex financial issues, including multiple director and shareholder companies, family discretionary trusts, local and overseas corporate structures.
Bhavesh is an expert in advising on complex intergenerational wealth transfers, estate planning strategies, including drafting sophisticated testamentary trusts, establishing testamentary trusts and advising on complicated arrangements required for personal, business and SMSF succession planning. Bhavesh’s expertise in estate planning is recognised and respected as he is often called to speak and present at legal and financial education seminars.
As an experienced litigator, Bhavesh uses his negotiation skills to assist estates and individuals through family provision claims and has represented a wide range of clients including overseas and local private businesses, high net worth individuals and sophisticated business owners. He is also well known for his commercial approach to the law and uses his skill set to achieve a result for his client with or without recourse to the courts.
